Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Perfect Just loving my purple foundation! Bought a king size foundation for our mattress. I'm on the heavy side and short so the weight capacity and bed height are very important to me. I explained to the Purple representative that I wanted a strong and stable foundation with no squeaking or wobbling. The representative informed me we could buy shorter legs at the hardware store which we did dropping the mattress height from 31 to 27 inches! The representative also stated the foundation was strong and could support 2,000 lbs! My husband put it together in a few minutes. The foundation cover is perfect! Could not be happier and would recommend to everyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Older Purple mattress support We thought we had a good foundation for our Purple 3. It was great for about 1 1/2 years. Then we moved. Our movers had trouble with the mattress. I believe they assembled our platform incorrectly. The result was a dip in the middle and we rolled into it at night. I contacted Purple and they asked about our platform and were more than willing to replace the mattress. But we decided to try The Purple Foundation first. Was a terrific choice! Our mattress no longer sags in the middle. I'm still not sure the mattress wasn't damaged in the move, but we are going to give it another year and if it happens again we will address that issue then. We love our Purple!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Squeaking after a week After replacing the overpriced basic platform bedframe they sell twice due to major noise issues I decided to upgrade to this. Overrall it's a bit higher quality but still uses a cheap hollow metal frame. The included legs appear to be made of particle board with a veneer. It was a bit of a pain to set up but was simple enough. Main issue is after a week of use it started squeaking just like the cheaper platform bedframe. Im tired of replacing frames and the noise level isnt that bad yet so i'll keep it for now but keep in mind you should probably find bed frames elsewhere than stay within the purple family. Should mention I think my weight is reasonable at 170.

I should've requested a replacement but it was such a feat getting it into my room and together alone I figured there's like 8 other legs to support it. It says it's able to hold a lot of weight , some crazy amount you would never have on a bed. But one corner leg is just forever bent and it makes my bed look bad. Other than the leg that was wonky in the first place , it's a good base. Sturdy. One leg being weird doesn't affect it too badly but still an eyesore. Expensive so I was sad but not sad enough to wanna take it apart and ask for something else but enough to be like ☹️ I wish I had now because I'm tired of looking at the bent leg

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this foundation and mattress We were searching for the best platform bed for our new Purple 3 mattress and couldn't find anything that was high enough off the ground for our preference. This foundation was the perfect solution and allows us to buy whatever headboard we want separately. It's extremely sturdy and does not squeak at all. It's easy to put together and all around exactly what we were looking for. We love this, and even more so we love our Purple mattress and Purple pillows. One thing to note is that the foundation easily slides around on our hardwood floors. We purchased grip pads for under each of the legs and the problem is solved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great frame Frame is great quality. No tools required to put together and very well built. A big difference compared to a wooden bed frame and bed set. Also this type of frame is recommended for my mattress and if I had my previous bed frame it would not be warranted. So having this helps warrant my mattress purchase and helps me know that it will help my mattress purchase stay in good shape for years to come and no more back pain. I don't care for the cover. It did not fit on as easy as I thought it would. It looks good quality but I wish it would be something that didn't allow it to move so much. I wish it was strechable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Went through 2 Foundations with the same issues. Waste of Ti Overall, it's an good Foundation. Would I suggest getting it? Honestly No. I was recommended to Purple for the Beds and they told me don't bother getting the Foundation. I didn't listen. The first Foundation I got was damaged and constantly squeaked just by touching it. I got a replacement and it just so happens that after the deadline for a Refund, the new Foundation started squeaking as well. Now I'm stuck with a Squeaky Foundation and I don't even want to bother getting a new one if it'll just do the exact same thing as the rest. I wouldn't suggest buying this Frame for the amount of money it's worth. You could probably build your own studier frame for that amount of money.
