Rated 1 out of 5 by from Painful This mattress was very painful for me. I had the mattress for 10 weeks and each week my hips, back and neck got more and more painful. I would wake up sore every morning. I did everything suggested to try and break in the mattress. This mattress is firm, even though it says a medium firmness. I even bought 2 expensive tempur-pedic pillows thinking that might be the answer but that only made things worse. The pillows are so heavy and hot, even though they claim to be the best cooling. The mattress also was hot. I am now doing physical therapy to try and undo my spinal injuries from the mattress and ended up exchanging it for another brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Restful and Extended Sleep The quality of the Tempur-LuxeAdapt Soft Mattress and Bed has increased my sleep from 5 to 6 hours a night. The raised head on the mattress helps if I am reading or watching TV. The elevated legs and feet are a huge asset for the improved circulation needed in my body. I especially love the raised mattress to support my lumber part of the spine with low massage relives me of some of the pain. The worst part of this is I am short and the bed is high. When I get on and off the bed, the sheets gather on one side and I have to straighten them the next morning. Overall, I love the extra rest that I get with elevated head and legs support.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Already caving I bought this mattress thinking it would last longer, since it was about 4k. It's about a year old and there's already such a dip in the hip area that I cannot get or stay comfortable. I work for a company that sells tempur-pedic Mattress, and yet I paid full price and the mattress is failing within a year. I'll be paying this if for years to come and I Absolutely hate it! It's overly hot, it's support system is so soft in the hip area I can literally feel it's collapsed under the comfort layers, but it's not showing a visible sag, so I guess I'm just out of luck. Never again. And I won't be recommending Tempur-Pedic to any of my customers moving forward.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Painful I had this mattress for 80 days and it was so painful. I would wake up with a sore back and hips each morning. I followed all the advice for breaking in this mattress and it made no difference. I am still doing physical therapy to try and undo the harm to my back and hips. The description says it is cooling but that is not true. I would wake up in the middle of the night because it was too hot. I also bought 2 expensive Tempur-Pedic pillows thinking this would help, but turned out to be a waste of money. They are very heavy and don't provide any cooling benefit. I found another mattress brand that is much more comfortable, provides the needed support for my back and hips and is cooling.

I just woke up from an ahhhhmazing restful night, so I decided to write this review because I've never owned a mattress this comfortable before. My husband and I wake up feeling rested and just plain amazing, it's even quite hard to find words to describe this new found love for this way of sleep. We've had the bed for 45 days now and it has changed my life. I used to wake up with all sorts of pain, especially my lower back. I have had back issues since my military active days and so, I can't say enough how this will change my life and now I can finally look forward to great nights in bed. This mattress is definitely worth every cent. We also purchased the adjustable base and it's a great fit for us. I love love love this bed, can't even believe it exists. This is just sublime!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Sleep Ever! I'm sleeping through the night! I wake up in the same position with my new Tempurpedic mattress. The Tempur-LuxeAdapt soft mattress just holds me perfectly that I do feel weightless, and drift right away into sleep. It's perfect for me sleeping on my side or back. I've had it for nearly a month & the 30 day breaking-in period has past, just as the salesperson told me it would after coming from the warehouse; It's warmed up & softened. I'm completely more than satisfied. It keeps me cool & I love the 2 Tempurpedic pillows which mold to my head & keep me cool too; a must have! I love my new mattress & pillows, thank you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High comfort level I love it, my husband is still getting used to it. He is a big guy, outweighs me by about 100 pounds. That means he sinks down low into the foam and it can be a bit of a struggle for him to turn over and get out of bed. I, on the other hand, love settling into a cozy little burrow. I have arthritis in my back and I no longer have any difficulty getting comfortable and staying comfortable all night. As to the smell that the sales person was obligated to warn us about, we barely noticed it and it wasn't at all unpleasant.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sleeping through the night I keep questioning if this mattress was worth the money. I haven't came up with a answer yet. I will say this, I am sleeping 6-7 hours straight at night. I have not done that in YEARS!! My dog is nine and I had to retrain him not to wake me up during the night to void. So my sleep hours are great. The adjustable base really helps with my sinuses. Now for the things that I'm not pleased with: My shoulder and hip hurts more with this bed than my last and I am not happy with the split mattresses. Also this bed is not good for intimacy. The split is odd and your mate seems to be so far away. I would have kept a queen size bed over a king. Also customer service is amazing!!
