Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally, sleep that doesn't hurt! I didn't need a month or even a week to get used to the Purple Plus mattress. I'm older and heavy, with arthritis, plus healing from torn muscles due to a near-fall. I'm so grateful for the support and comfort this mattress provides. I was cautious before buying it, because I really hate the heat buildup of memory foam and a soft plastic foam grid didn't sound much better. However-it is. Much. Much. Better. It does warm to body temperature during the night, but the heat doesn't build up past that. Plus, because of the air pockets, heat dissipates quickly if you want to be cooler-just skootch over for a bit, then skootch back. Such a difference. Thank you Purple.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Birthday Blues:Pilled Within 2 Months Very Disappointed The Purple Soft Stretch Sheets were meant to be a luxurious birthday indulgence, promising unbeatable comfort. Initially, they delivered on their softness, but their durability quickly proved lacking, even with diligent adherence to the care instructions. Within just two months, these sheets began to pill, detracting from their appeal and comfort. Despite my efforts to maintain their quality, the fabric looked worn and aged. It's disheartening that even with proper care, the Purple Soft Stretch Sheets couldn't withstand regular use. Regrettably, I cannot recommend them to others seeking long-lasting bedding. Exploring alternative options may be the wiser choice for those desiring both comfort and durability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My purple mattress This is the first time that I have purchased a mattress, and I was nervous when I found out that it came shrink-wrapped as I was concerned that the mattress would be flat and I would be disappointed. I was very wrong. This mattress is the first mattress in a very long time that allows me to go to sleep and stay asleep for hours. I really am glad that I spent the money I did to get this mattress. I hope that it stays like this for years to come. I work 12-16 hour shifts so it is very difficult when I am constantly waking up every two-three hours. So happy that I purchased this mattress. The firmness is perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like the grid I got my son one of the kids mattresses several years ago and loved the feel and the cooling effect it had so I finally decided to get a purple matress to put on my adjustable base. Because we have a split king the mattess had to be a twin XL so I could not buy the kids one for me. It does seem firmer and less cooling, but since I've started sleeping with the zero gravity setting I've noticed I feel more comfortable but still wake up hot. I may have to try the similar sheets as I didn't really like the super stretchy ones I got for my son, however I'm thinking that might be part of the cooling factor that the semi-stretchy split king sheets with cotton flat sheet do not have.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Husband Loves It Great company, easy ordering, super fast delivery, but we have only had the mattress for a couple of weeks so not sure if the comfort will last yet. My husband sleeps sounder and quieter, he snores super loud usually, but he has been sleeping like a baby. If anything hoping this lasts! Me, on the other hand, have a bit of a hard time getting comfortable at bedtime. Once I do fall asleep, I stay asleep but do wake up a little tired and stiff in the morning. Our old mattress was really worn out and this one is for sure an improvement. I am hoping that I am just in a "break-in" period and my sleep will improve.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had to come back and get their pillows as well We've been waking up with back pain everyday for years and finally decided to invest in a better mattress. After long consideration, we figured that the Purple plus fits our needs the most. I knew it'd be better, but I underestimate how much better it was. It was cooling, it was supportive, it was absolutely amazing. I decided to be that person and jumped on one side while my partner was on the other to test the movement transfer there was nothing. I didn't realize how much pain my body has been suffering everyday until now and my partner convinced me to get their pillows as well. Best decision ever.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sleep! We bought our first purple mattress at the furniture store and we LOVE it. Then decided a couple years later to get one for our winter home. We ordered the second one online and the options had changed. Now they had a hybrid with springs and only two without springs. We order the Purple Plus because it didn't have springs and we loved our older one without - but it's not quite the same. It's still a great sleep (we noticed from day one) and still not a hot mattress! However, the side support isn't there like our older one. If you get to close to the edge you can roll or slide off easily. The older one wasn't like that. It came with free sheets which were horribly made. Don't even use them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I HATE IT I started having problems on day 3 of receiving my brand new bed and contacted Purple via email 3 times and no one has responded. You would think that such an expensive mattress would generate better customer service but I obviously was wrong. As of Jan. 11, 2024, I'm still trying to return this thing! Also the sizes of the mattress is way smaller than what is advertised, not even close to what it's supposed to be.
