Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome experience It’s hard to feel great about buying something big like this when there aren’t any reviews online, but we took the jump. Now I owe it to all of you to share the experience. The short of it is that I’m really really pleased with the bed, but I’ll go into all the details. We bought this bed with the intention of splitting them up into two different beds. From what we found in the showroom, this was a better overall value and better quality than buying two separate beds, plus it was the style we wanted. We also purchased a trundle to go under one of the beds and it was equally great, though FYI it doesn’t come in white (we were ok with the gray). Starting with assembly, the boxes were glued so well that they were honestly not possible to open without a blade, but that could have been a one off because the trundle was able to be opened just fine. I only mention this because the wood is super close to the edge of the box, so be careful. The pieces were nicely packed and the hardware was easy to find, even marked with a red ribbon sticking out of the box. The pieces aren’t labeled but they’re pretty obvious so I didn’t find that to be a negative. Less stickers to peel off I suppose. The hardware was all really nice, which I don’t always find to be the case in furniture. It always seems to be the cheapest garbage available and you end up breaking or stripping screws. This wasn’t the case here, it was all nice and we had no issues. Assembling each bed took maybe 30 minutes once we had all the parts lined up, and that’s being generous. It was easy and I was really pleased. I can’t speak to the ease of assembly for the ladder since we aren’t using this as a bunk, but the assembly process looked very similar to the rest of it so I assume it’s fine. As far as the build quality goes, it’s a really solid bed. Way better than I would have expected for the price point, honestly. It doesn’t flex or squeak or anything. I somewhat expected them to be a little less stable with not stacked, like they rely on being bunked to feel solid, but that wasn’t the case. And the stacked display model in the showroom was solid so I feel comfortable saying that the at home experience of this bed stacked would be the same. I hope this helps anyone that’s looking. Don’t let the price deter you, it’s a legit piece of furniture that I feel confident will last.
