| This wine punch celebrates the Maple Leaf flag with plentiful red berries mixed with sparkling white wine. |

Ingredients

2 cups (500 mL) sliced strawberries |
|
|
|
1-1/2 cups (375 mL) raspberries |
|
|
|
1/3 cup (75 mL) orange liqueur or orange brandy |
|
|
|
2 tbsp (30 mL) granulated sugar |
|
|
|
2 tbsp (30 mL) brandy |
|
|
|
1 small lemon, thinly sliced |
|
|
|
12 mint leaves |
|
|
|
Pinch salt |
|
|
|
1 bottle (750 mL) chilled sparkling white wine |

Preparation
|
|
|
In pitcher, stir together strawberries, raspberries, orange liqueur, sugar, brandy, lemon, mint and salt; refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or for up to 4 hours. Stir in sparkling wine; top with ice.
