Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's the absolute best cushion of this size I've ever used. I'm about 350lbs and have Sciatica. I've tried several cushions in the past with varying degrees of success. None of them have come close to relieving the pressure as much as this one. I actually prefer the 'ultimate' cushion, but it's dimensions don't really allow for use in some spaces. I use this one in the car, on my office chair, and I bring with me if I go to concerts or other events. I use the ultimate on my sofa at home. I did try the thinner 'simply' and it was just too thin for someone of my weight. My wife who is 120ls said she preferred the simply, so I think weight certainly plays a factor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love The Chair Cushions and Back Pad We have some hard wood chairs that we sit on every day for at least an hour and at times three or four hours. My wife was at her sisters house and they have one chair with the purple chair cushion and every one tries to get this chair, my wife got her turn to sit on this chair and was really impressed. When she got home told me to look up Purple on line. Like a good husband I jumped right into looking up Purple, wow! don't look for cheep, they are expensive but once you sit on them you will forget the price. The only thing is to keep the back pad from sliding up and down we added Velcro straps around the spindles of the chairs and works fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Royal Purple Cushion My desk job is 6 - 10 hours daily in worn out chair with December being unusually busy. Immediately upon trying out the cushion at home I realized my hips were not level. Over the next five minutes while pondering this discovery and wondering how to find time to do something about it I felt my right hip ease downward. My upper thigh began jerking as tension released. Three weeks of 24/7 hip to knee pain on both sides was significantly decreased and I had a restful night's sleep. 24 hours later I was pain free. Now I'm so comfortable at work I'm neglecting to take breaks. Thank you! May business be abundantly blessed with sales and no returns.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable Royal Seat Cushion This cushion is great compared to other seat cushions. However, I do not think it is as well made as the Purple mattress and could be improved. It tends to roll to edge of chair and it a little too "squishy". I can't sit for too long because I sink into it and my hips start to hurt. I wish it was more like the Purple mattress. Maybe layered differently with different padding on top so it wouldn't move as much. I do like the size and the handles on the seat cover and that it is machine washable. I was between a 3-4 stars but given other regular seat cushions it is better but would be awesome if it was the same or similar to the Purple mattress.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for the boney butts of the world! Very nice thick and squishy cushion - but unfortunately, it's quite uncomfortable if you don't have a padded rear. I have a boney rear which gets uncomfortable sitting long in a non-padded chair, so I bought this cushion hoping for relief. It's was very comfortable at first, but after a week of using it, I had to give it to someone else in the office because it felt like my rear was covered in bruises. The material is very sturdy and firm, but if you have no butt fat, it tends to make your bones ache. The person I gave it to LOVES it because they have some cushioning on their backside - but if you don't, then I wouldn't recommend this cushion.

My idea was to try out the cushion first and then order the mattress, etc. I tried every which way to make it comfortable for me but I it just didn't work. I developed pain in my hip area which only improved after I stopped using it. I would try again and it came back. I think your product is pretty neat and I so wanted to love it. It caught my eye because of your entertaining ads and the color. I mean...I am all about Purple. My name, my color...you get it. I did return it about 2 weeks ago and am waiting for my refund to be completed. Wishing you much success. Surely wish it worked for me.

I usually spend a total of 10 hours or so in front of the computer for work. Despite the chair being great for back support and being composed of high quality material, my butt would start to hurt after only a few hours. Determined not to let my investment go to waste, I decided to purchase this wonderful cushion. Now I can sit with confidence knowing that my but will not start aching after only a couple hours of work. *friendly reminder to get up and stretch regularly as well* I would definitely recommend this product to anyone and everyone that sits for long hours of time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A very wise choice. I've had hip and lower back problems for nearly a decade due to a severe injury I suffered when I was younger. Sitting has always caused me a great deal of discomfort, and would require the cheek to cheek shuffle, never able to find a comfortable position I could be in for more than a few minutes at a time. I am very grateful for the purple cushion, it has greatly reduced the discomfort I suffer when sitting, I only wish I could afford the mattress and pillow currently, as I believe they might help me achieve the first good night sleep without excruciating pain in over 10yrs. Long story short, This is a good quality product that actually works.
