What kind of items are repairable or covered?
Most companies offer a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing (MFG) defects only. If the issue falls within this timeframe and is due to a MFG defect, the cost of parts and labor is covered. Some companies provide a limited lifetime warranty, covering the cost of parts but not labor. Certain companies extend warranties for cores and mechanical issues, ranging from 3 to 5 years. For more detailed information, customer service or sales managers can assist.
Examples of MFG Issues:
- Fabric separation
- Seam failure
- Premature core breakdown
- Malfunctioning mechanisms due to MFG defects
- Electrical malfunctions due to MFG defects
- Season splits in wood
- Warping of wood parts
- Frame damage due to MFG defects
Are there any exclusions by brand or category?
We do not offer warranty on AS-IS clearance merchandise. These items are all sold AS-IS with no returns or warranty. Additionally, some companies or certain products may require the customer contact the manufacturer directly for warranty service issues related to MFG defects. Customer service can provide more information regarding these specifics. For instance, Sauder is a brand that requires direct contact for any service issues or parts.
Examples not covered by MFG Issues:
- Abnormal use (e.g., jumping on the product)
- Accidental damage (e.g., by people, tools, crayons, pens, pencils, markers, animals, piling of fabric)
- Environmental damage (e.g., weather, moisture, heat, chemicals, fire, direct sunlight)
- For added protection, a furniture protection plan can be purchased, which covers some of these non-MFG defect issues
Are there any costs associated with repairs?

If your out-of-warranty product needs to be picked up by our in-home delivery team for shop repair, you will also be responsible for pickup and delivery fees.
