DASH to a healthy blood pressure

Is your blood pressure racing? If so, change what you eat.

Scientists say that people whose diets are rich in vegetables, fruit and low-fat dairy -- and that is also low in saturated fat, total fat and cholesterol -- lower their blood pressure within two weeks and reduce their total cholesterol and "bad" cholesterol levels, too.

Did you know about 5 million Canadians have high blood pressure, which can lead to heart attack, stroke and kidney failure.
