Breast-Screening Guidelines
The Canadian Cancer Society recommends women of all ages follow breast-screening guidelines.

If you are 20-39:
• become familiar with how your breasts
look and feel through regular self-examination
• be able to recognize monthly breast changes
• have an annual physical exam by your
doctor or other health professional
• learn about the risk factors for breast cancer, including hereditary factors
• be aware of screening guidelines for all age groups
