Planning to give chocolates for Valentine's Day? You can make even better than you can buy with these recipes, which allow you to choose the best-quality chocolate, select fresh nuts and your favourite dried fruits -- and mix in a generous helping of heartfelt affection.
Good-for-you chocolate
Go ahead, grab a piece -- chocolate, especially dark chocolate, which contains 70 per cent or higher cocoa solids, is a rich source of flavonoids. These compounds have an antioxidant effect on our bodies.
Careful, however: Chocolate is also a rich source of calories and fat; moderation is key.
